1. Who can join?

When the marketplace launches, eligible individuals and businesses age 18 or older will be able to apply for seller accounts. Signup will require secure account verification and identity checks where applicable. The payment provider will determine eligible seller countries. Orders will ship to customers in the United States and Canada only. Registration is not open yet.

2. New and used product listings

Sellers may list permitted, genuine, lawfully owned new or used consumer products, including typical electronics, clothing, accessories, home goods, toys, collectibles, books, tools and sporting goods. Sellers must state the correct condition (new, open box, used or refurbished), price, actual brand if known, working condition, repairs, missing accessories and all material defects.

Prohibited: counterfeit, pirated, stolen, recalled or unsafe goods; firearms or other prohibited weapons, explosives, hazardous materials, alcohol, tobacco or nicotine, cannabis and illicit drugs, prescription medications, restricted adult products, protected wildlife products, spyware and items violating laws, intellectual-property rights or payment processor rules. Some lawful goods may require special approvals or be excluded at the marketplace's discretion.

3. Photos and short videos

Each product listing may include up to 6 images and 1 short video. Proposed upload limits: JPG, PNG or WebP images, 8 MB each; one MP4, WebM or MOV video of up to 30 seconds and 50 MB. Media must show the actual product, including visible wear and damage, and the seller must have permission to publish it. Deceptive, infringing or prohibited content may be removed. Live uploads will require secure storage and server-side validation; the current preview does not upload files.

4. Fees and earnings

• Listing: $0.20 USD per published product listing. Saving a private draft is free.
• Sale: 4% of the item selling price after a successful sale. Separately stated shipping fees, applicable sales taxes, and import duties are excluded from this calculation.
• Processing: payment processor fees are separate from the platform's 4% commission. The responsible party and full fee breakdown must be finalized before launch.
• Planned listing credits: $5 buys 25 listing credits at $0.20 each. No charges are active today.

A $100 item sale means a $4 marketplace commission and $96 of seller proceeds before payment-processing charges and other applicable costs. The $0.20 listing fee is separate.

5. Payment and shipping

Marketplace purchases and fees must use the official checkout. Selling off-platform to avoid charges may violate marketplace rules. Sellers must ship within the stated handling period, use protective packaging and provide accurate delivery information. Verified seller payout accounts will be required. Final payout timing and held funds policies must be published before launch.

6. Returns, disputes and safety

Before collecting payments, the marketplace must finalize buyer protection, cancellation and returns standards; counterfeit/defective item disputes; refund and commission reversals; chargeback handling; listing removals; and repeat offender restrictions. Platform fees on refunded transactions have not yet been finalized. Seller identity documents and payment credentials must only be provided through a secure verified provider, not by email.

7. Tax and legal requirements

Sales-tax rules, marketplace-facilitator responsibilities, Canadian import charges, seller tax reporting, privacy and consumer rights must be reviewed before launch. These drafts are for planning and do not replace professional legal or tax advice.
